Applied Underwriters Appoints Todd Michael Brown to Director of Operations

OMAHA, NE -- January 21, 2003: Applied Underwriters, a premier financial services and workers’ compensation company, announced today the appointment of Todd Michael Brown to Director of Operations. In this position, Brown will be responsible for all of the company’s operational controls across its divisions, including administrative and reporting procedures and personnel management.

Brown joined Applied Underwriters in 1998 where he most recently served as General Manager of Operations in charge of Applied Underwriters’ largest national product, SolutionOne‚. Prior to supervising SolutionOne, Brown held several positions within the company, including Human Resource Administrator, Risk Specialist, Risk Manager, and New Accounts Processing Manager. Brown, who is a Certified Professional in HR Management (PHR), worked as a General Manager in the retail industry before coming to Applied Underwriters. Brown received his BA in Human Resource Management and Psychology from Buena Vista University of Storm Lake, IA.
